went to the varisty tonight to there lil ricerthon/car show in atlanta.
there was a few vets and a mustang or 2 . i pulled in there with my cut outs open choping a lil bit . me and my wife park and step out of the car . to get rushed by a bunch of people staring my car down . A guy in a 04 cobra steped up wanting to run me . i told him i dont race with the wife i n the car 'but i will meet up with u some outher time . we swaped numbers and we r gonna hit up I20 one day this week . the only thing he is pushing 460 rwhp. thats a big difference than 401.i was gonna try him with a 40 kick,any sugestions

Stock figure around 100lbs. All the stock figures I've seen for a '03-'04 Cobra say it weights just over 3500lbs: The F bodies were 3370-3450lbs.

the lower the roll the better for you.. the higher in speeds you guys get the more his power advantage is going to show. You can always try a dig or maybe an old school 10mph roll.

you dont have much of a chance if you are on bad tires and make less power, he will jump out on you from a dig and pull you from whatever speed. You either need more power to pull him or better tires and a nasty launch and try to hold him off for a little while.

run it from a dig, like it should be done. that way theres no excuses.

well a stock ls3 is good for 390-400 which will pull your car because of its weight, assuming you are full weight. Plus you dont have good tires so it is not like you can take him from a dig. To sum it up he will out launch you assuming he has good tires and he pulled a car that would pull you so i dont think you have much of a chance. But you never know i would still run him for fun.
