Paint & Body Work - tail panel on a 75 question

I have a 75 I am planning on putting a lsx/6speed combo in! My question is can I replace the tail panel with a 70-73 I love the way the round tail lights look?

I think the tail ends are different unless you change the quarters sections too. Some custom work and it may work.
