So here is what I have done....

Comp 232/236 .579/.579 114 LSA, LS6 intake, 243 heads(un-ported/un-milled), BBK 80mm TB, comp 918's, LS2 timing set, LS7 lifters and trays, chromoly 7.350 pushrods, ported oil pump, eBay headers, MSD 8.5mm and NGK tr55's, custom Y with a flowmaster 3'' to 4'' merge into a 4'' cutout out my 3'' magnaflow CB.

After dan got the tuning down to a tee, on his Mustang dyno it made 360.7 hp @6192rpm and 334.6 tq @4778rpm with the cutout closed

With the cutout open max power was 372.9 @ 6113rpm and max torque was 344 @ 4939

I was hoping for closer to 400 but my stock injectors were at 102% duty cycle at 5200 rpm and it was hot as hell @ 90 degrees.... so I hope with bigger injectors and on a cooler day I will be close to my goal.

What do you guys think...??

If your reading this Dan thanks for all you have done!!!!

M6.. from what I have herd mustang dynos are very accurate..so those numbers would be around 12% higher on any other dyno more like..417/385

I'm kind of suprised on the gain from the cutout. Some dynos aren't comparable. I would think you would be in the 400 hp range. Did they give you an indication as to what other cars do on their dyno versus a dynojet?

How is the drivability? I thought about having my car tune tweaked by them.

Driveability is great, ya a 11hp gain is sweet for the cutout but no lie I got to Masport at 9 and Dan started tweeking and he didnt stop until 3:30 great attention to detail, great to talk to, and a tuning guru! Yes he told me his dyno is alot more accurate than a dynojet and I have herd its about a 12 % diff. I wrote the same thread in the florida section and you will see there that he is the man by everyone's comments.

why does every thing that has the name mustang has to have less of everything, balls, power etc

What was the temp when you dynoed? it was 90+ on my best run. Also as I said before, my injectors were at 102% duty cycle at 5200 which caused it to run lean. Plus your cam is bigger.....seems like 373 is right where I should be considering. I'm interested to see what I put down with bigger injectors and 15 degrees colder out.

i forget the temp and yea my cam is bigger but that was with the cutout closed and stock 241 heads injectors could be an issue but idk throw in some 36lbs

Agreed, "Injectors." An LS6 intake should allow continued increased air movement through 6300 RPM (a$$uming that it's not restricted by the heads). I'd estimate that she's slightly lean above 5500RPM & causing the tuner to stop the pull by 6100 RPM. Got a MAF plot? How 'bout an A/F ratio plot?

I'd step up to the "new" style 30# Accels (better spray nozzles than red tops) or 42# LSX injectors & then watch the numbers go up.

Dyno's are great but take it to the track that will really tell what the car is making.Too many people get caught up with dyno #'s track dont lie.

Yep. Brand new state of the art facility 45 min from where you live. Wednesday and Friday test and tune. PBIR has been hooking great for the last couple. Mustang dynos can be setup to read like a dynojet or can be fully loaded and read alot lower.

Also, that cam is begging to be used with a turbo. Pick up a cheap set of 317 heads and a TC76 and make 600 rwhp without losing any driveability.

Ya Moroso...I grew up there. Im taking her out there the 11th to see how she does im not extecting much with a stock tranny, clutch, and rear I might as well just schedule a tow now....
Your telling me... Im allready saving for a turbo setup but i am sure that money will go towards a rear end lol

You can come out easy and roll into it to get your MPH and get a better idea as to how you compare to others with a similar setup. That said, power that you can't put down isn't worth a damn. Stock tranny is fine. Get a clutch, rear, and some drag radials and you're ready to go.

I still feel that is a little low with those heads and that cam even if it is a mustang dyno. I have a 228 cam with stock 813 heads with full exhaust and an ls6 intake and 100,000 miles and I put down 395. Oh and that was throught a heavy ass ls7 clutch. I say just go to the track and see what she does. I had jeremy formato tune mine. He is a very good tuner also. I have heard good things about your tuner also.

Hmm... do you have the tsp 228R cam? If so, though your duration is lower your lift is way higher at .588 I also have a LS7 clutch and 110,000 miles...
