Conversions & Hybrids - drive by wire????

Picked up a ls2/t56 for my 57. What would be the best DBW setup and what all would i need from the donor car?? the motor has the computer and harness already

If you have the donor car, use the DBW from it. Keep the throttle body, pedal and teac module (if it uses one) together. What year LS2 (24X OR 58X)?

i have no donor car. the motor is 05 gto

So it is a 24x crank sensor. You can do a few things. you could keep the E40PCM or go to a 411 and use a 2001 corvette TAC Module and Throttle Body. I would probably stick with the E40 but I am not too sure how much aftermarket support you will get with that. Any comments out there?

Actually the motor is an 06 Gto. Will that make any difference in throtlle set-up.??Would any GM DBW set up work???

Any DBW will work as long as the Throttle body, TAC Module (non E38/E40/E67 applications), pedal and tune match. 06 GTO used a E67 not an E40. Once again I am not sure how much aftermarket support you will get with the E67.
