I got a pioneer radio and 4 6.5 pioneer speakers installed last week and today I am picking up a kenwood 10 with subthump box and 600w amp. What guage wire should I use? Does brand make a difference?

4 gauge wire is fine. I would use Kicker or Knukonceptz wire.

Thats huge! I think I used 8ga or 10ga which is plenty. Its still small enough to fit under the carpet and kick panels.

8 or 10 gauge is too small for a 10'' sub, IMO

All depends on the setup for big power amp 8 would be small but 4 on a 600 is probably a little overkill

Better to be overkill than too small;)
