gonna try to make this short.....her 05focus with like 25k miles all of a sudden shut off and wouldnt start, while driving. took it to our local small town ford dealership and it turned out to be the crankshaft positioning sensor. took them about a month to fix it, now this is her only vehicle which she takes care of a lot. so now the car's rpm is not stable, it revs from maybe 700/800 to 400/300rpm, up and down up and down. she has been taking it back and even got the service advisor(there is only one) to admit the car is not right. now they dont want to do nothing to the car saying the warranty does not cover it and that how do they know the car was not doing that before. i already went there once and got the cops called on me for almost jumping over the counter and choking the guy. so i cant go back. basically the dealership has closed its doors to her, where she has bought about 4 cars herself. what should be the next step we take?

it sems like a repair issue so go through those inspectors that inspect mechanic shops and grab the dmv inspector tell them what happen or tell the dealer what ur planning on doing they will probably shit there pants and fix it either ways those cars are junk and it will keep breaking down good luck

LS1PASSION....DMV inspector? can the dmv actually do anything? also, i dont know which inspectors that check mechanic shops your talking about. i know dealerships have inspectors that come in to check a job BEFORE its done, but just to make sure they are not wasting money.
SUPER SPEED....we cant take it to another dealership because the vehicle is out of warranty, i think this is a warranty issue that has to be covered on the job that was done to the car. warranty on the job rather than warranty on the car.
