First up is an '01 LS6 block with ~25K miles... blew by a fractured piston, so I took it to a machine shop thinking all was well, and when they started to clean up the cylinder walls so I could rebuild it, they found a light fracture on one of the walls, so at least that sleeve needs to be redone, and I don't want to deal with that hassle... $175
Next up is a trashed '99 LS1 block... was rebuilt, driven about ~2,000 miles, then I blew 4 pistons, destroyed the crank, huge hole through the block, etc. etc. Could be used for scrap aluminum or as a table? $30
Next up, I have 4 241 heads. 2 of them are lightly cleaned up/ported from the engine I blew and 2 are stock, 1 has a rocker arm bolt that's stripped and the other is fine from what I recall. I should have enough valves for at least 2 heads to throw a long, as well as springs/retainers/seats/locks. I would just take them all to a machine shop and see which ones are good and have them cleaned up/inspected/valve job. $75
Or buy everything for $250 ($30 savings).
