Racer's Lounge - Can someone help me get DOOM running on my computer?

I have vista, and I also have "The ultimate Doom Trilogy" It has Doom, Doom2, and Final Doom.

I'm trying to get it to play on my computer, but it won't. I keep reading all this stuff about "ChocolateDoom" and what not, but I don't understand any of that technical stuff.

Can anyone help me?

Currently when I try to start the game, a window comes up that says:"This appliccation has failed to start because DPLAY.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

no worries just a common computer error now listen carefully remove the disk and then leave the drive open grab a snickers bar put in microwave 4 15 seconds then gently rub ur finger over the top an place alittle on the cd drive this will let it run smoother sounds crazy but it works

Edit: Nevermind, I got it. I just copied it into the files for each of the games. Thank you very much. I have been trying to get this to work for a while now.

Just joking? What do you mean? I just stuffed a whole snickers into my CD drive...:guns:

Now if someone can get the original Alien versus Predator to work with newer Nvidia drivers...

windows 7 does wonders I'd upgrade to that as soon as I could.

new nvidia drivers don't work on modern games. I'm still running 07 drivers and everything works perfectly.
