I'm planning on moving to south Alabama in January to attend an aviation school, I'm wanting to be an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic. I would like some insight, advice, whatever info you have to give. Pretty much all the info I've gathered has been from Google, so not sure how much I can rely on that. Is this a good career, something I'd be able to start a family and not have to live week to week?
Thanks guys

I'm a helicopter mechanic for the Marines as a contractor. I did it in the Corps then just conyinued when i got out. I love working on them and am very good at it. It pays good and i have alot of fun doing it. I work with about 6 very good friends from the Marines. If you are young enough i would look into serving and pursue it that way.

I'm excited as hell about it. I've already taken the required academic classes too, so I won't have to bother with any of them.
Thanks for the info.
