Just bought a din head unit. Where's the best place to find a good metra or best kit unit. Do they still have the ones with a little opening on the bottom so you can store things under the DIN headunit ??

This is for a 2002 Trans Am.

The metra kit that they make for the TA doesnt have a pocket its a flat panel. Kit will run you about $15.00 you also will need a wiring harness which will be $15.00, and a antena adaptor wich will run you $10.00.

You can normally pick up a Metra kit at any local places. I picked up a dash kit and an attenna adapter for just a little bit over 30 bucks.

Which kit is the one that comes out a little bit, doesn't fit back into the stock peice, but comes with a new trim peice.

The Metra kit you're looking for is available as part number 99-4544. That is the kit with the pocket.
