Stereo & Electronics - Disc Changer is not reading discs??

My stock disc changer has not read disc's for the past 3 days? Everytime i try to play the changer it gives me an ERR sign. it goes through the whole carthridge of 12 discs and every single one it gives me an ERR code?

has anyone had this problem before?
what should i do?

Your cd mech has probably failed. As far as I know it is not a quick fix. You must have it repaired from a facility, most likely cost ya up to $200.

If all else fails, and it'll cost big $$$ to fix, keep your eyes posted to the "For Sale" forum. You may be able to pick up a replacement from someone pretty cheap.

Yeah, mine does the exact same thing. I don't have the changer but it's a problem stemming from the head unit. I believe it's rather common. The Monsoon deck isn't all that great. Unless I've missed somethign you're looking at buying another and so am I :(

i know this is going to sound stupid, but try turning all of your cd's around. they should go in the way that it seems they should not. make sense? upside down, all of them.
