Stereo & Electronics - Volume Steering Wheel Button Doesn't Always Work?

My volume up steering wheel button doesn't always work. The down and all other buttons seem to work fine, but the up craps out every now and then...any suggestions to a remedy?

Mine does the same thing. Must be notorious in our vehicles. I think the switch is toast. I can feel the switch being pressed/depressed when i push volume down and on all the other buttons, but when I volume up, it seems like it's already pushed in. (If that makes sense) If anyone has any input on this I would like to know. Mine is on the fritz although it does work sometimes also.

GM steering wheel controls are pretty crappy and cheap feeling. Probably is shot.
