How do you hook up a LCD screen to an XBOX or any other source? what are the adapters/wires/components needed? any websites, diagrams, anything would help. Thanks :headbang:

There are a lot of variables here.

There are screens made specifically for the xbox. Those kinda attach to it and can be found at game stores like GameStop and EBX.

Just about any LCD with RCA input can be used with an xbox.

i have a screen made by legacy, its a mobile LCD screen with just a S-Video connection like connection(it looks like an s-video connection but its not, its not like 2 more prongs i think). I wanna hook it up for an xbox.

if it is a S-Video connection, then its still easy. You just need the S-Video cable for the xbox. If it looks like an S-Video connection but with 2 extra pins (maybe more?), then you'll need an adapter cable. This can be an issue. Either you'll have to get it from the manufacturer, or if you bought a video card (for your computer) in the last few years, it may have come with that cable. This is assuming that the pin-out of the LCD's connection is the same as the pin-out on the video card. You can try that cable. It looks like the odd connector on one end split into a S-Video connector and a RCA video connector on the other end. Hopefully the pin-outs are the same, otherwise its possible that something could get damaged. Its worth a shot though.

THe "S-Video" looking connection is probably a cable that links the screen to a brain box that has the actual video inputs. Did you buy this new or used?

I am with maddboost. It might be a proprietary connection and not intended to go directly to a source.
