Automotive News, Media & Press - Stand Aside EVO, here comes one bad Golf!

Looks like VW didn't take the criticism of it's new EVO/STi competitor, the Golf R32, very well. The next Generation Golf is already for sale in Europe, and the R version appears to have a 3.2 Liter Turbo 6-cylinder... probably will have AWD too of course.

That blue one in the middle looks like a Chevy Aveo.

Bah they don't look very good at all. But the engine idea is cool.

I saw one of those R32 V Dubs the other day, it actually sounded pretty good as it went by, looked like stock exhaust too.

I saw one of those R32 V Dubs the other day, it actually sounded pretty good as it went by, looked like stock exhaust too.It is a much more upscale car than the EVO and STi IMOHO, but since the R32 lacks the performance of an EVO or STi the whole reason I would consider one flies out the door once I see the window sticker...ACK!
