How big of deal is this as far as reselling price is concerned?
I went in to install the JL Audio 6W0 subs in the sail panel and everything is fine except they are too deep for the stock cutout. The back of the magnet hits the body.
If i wanted to buy a custom grill I could have had them push it out with speaker adapters but didn't want to spend the extra $65 an hour for him to do so.
OR I could have cut the metal behind it for it to fit in the stock hole, which to be honest I would rather not do.
Is cutting metal out for speaker installs that big of deal when it comes to resale value of the vehicle?
Not that I have any desire to sell it any time soon, I'm just wondering.
