OK, lets see. No references to sex, drugs, alcohol, or violence. Therefore it's inopropriate for TV, yeah ok.

BTW that ad was one of the coolest GM ads I've seen in a long time. GM did a shitty job of marketing the 4th gen F-Bodies and while the Corvette is already well known and practically a household name, it was cool to see GM pushing it's latest and badest sports car in a very cool ad.

Worried that kids might take their parents car out for a joyride? All this tells us is that those people opposing the ad admit that there are too many stupid parents out there who would allow their child access to their brand spankin new C6.

Fak what a waste of a good ad. That part where the boy passes the girl in the silver C6 convertible in the air is mint. Props to GMs advertising department for putting together an awesome ad.

yeah, this is stupid, i actually read about it in the Buisness section of our local paper and thought i was a joke.

Maybe they should not let Ryan Newman drive his SRT-10 fast through a residential neightborhood blowing everyone's doors off :eyes: or let D.W. drive his toyota truck through someone's front yard because he's mad at that guy that boo'd at him :jest: (yes, we are NASCAR fans)

Case in point, it is uncalled for to pull the commercial. Who decided this?

BTW, make no mistake it was GM that decided to pull the commercial bowing to pressure, so the fault sits squarely on their shoulders for condoning this sort of "sensitivity".

I really hate what this country has become. I can't wait to move back (Germany sucks!), but I am just sick of how conservative everyone/thing is getting.
