Stereo & Electronics - rear view mirror lights cut on and off while driving

my rear view mirror lights will cut on and off whil eim driving. obviously its not noticable during the day but at night it sure is...its getting irritating cause i can't see very well with lots of light, it glares off my eye glasses...

anyone ever had this issue how can i fix it?

could be a loose button for the lights....see how easy or hard the buttons are to press....if they press in with no resistance, the springs are probably shot and need to be replaced
