I am going to be running Corbeau seats with 4 point harnesses. I was just curious as to how you prevent the seat belt light from staying on all the time. What do all of you guys do out there?

If I remeber right when I installed my sparcos (add removed the stock belts) the light whent away as the plug on the belt was unpluged! If unpluging the belt doesn't work let me know I have other ideas!

Thanks, I'll let you know. But, how do you completely remove the stock belts?

the light only stays on for less than a minute after startup or disconnect of the belt.

Just unbolt it from the floor and remove the headliner and there is another bolt in there for the reel belt box! They weight a ton! Oh and don't be a idoit and bolt the rear harness to the lower rear seat bolt, read up on it the rear point has to be at the right angle or you will break your shoulder bones! on the 2000 up there is a bolt in the trunk for the child seats! Use that please or a roll bar point that is centered and back.

The seat belt switch is normally closed - it breaks the ground circuit when the belt is buckled. Disconnecting the switch will make the system think the belt is buckled all the time so the light will never go on.
