Drag Racing Results - I broke 12's!!!!

I have an 01 SS M6 with only a direct flo lid and a dynomax bullet muffler in the I-pipe... I ran the car with Nittos to see if I could get a better launch.. I got a little bit better sixty, but it was still only a 2.0.... But I was really happy! My car went 12.92 @ 109 with that 2.0 sixty!!! I think shes runnin pretty good.. I did it today at BMP! :)

So a "mod list" could read: LS6 intake, cat-back, lid, and drag radials?? Not bad to get into the 12's. (i assume you have the bullet muffler in place of the stocker). That is a very good trap speed!

you have room for better numbers by that trap speed. Nice run.

Well, I dont really consider the LS6 intake a mod since it came on my car stock from the factory.. cause its an 01... so basically just lid, bullet muffler, and nittos.. but see I only ran a 2.0 sixty, so if I could launch it harder I know I could get a 12.8 or 12.7 with a 1.9 or 1.8 sixty... :) Thanks for the replies!!

i hear ya! I also ran at BMP today, my only mod is an mti lid and !FRA lol i did worse 60 footer than you... heh now i just need a set of bfg drag radials and a 1.8 60 foot and ill be in the 12.6's with just a lid and filter :devil:
