for the road:

owners will have been instructed not to drive their 140k cars under any circumstances.........ford's gonna come pick 'em up and return them.....maybe they should have stayed out of the "exotic" game untill they could build one without recalling it within 6 months....

Sad sad sad.

For a car like that (or any car for that matter) a casting error (crack) should Not go unnoticed. Kinda scary for us with less than that car IMO.

They are doing the right thing by recalling and fixing the cars. It's a Hell of a car recall or not.

yeah, i guess they could have waited until somebody's control arm snapped at 100 mph to take action....that would be a fun ride

I'm glad to see that they're correcting the problem now.....that's too cool of a car to let a tragedy or fatal accident end it's production. Granted, I'll never be able to afford one :)

GM had a simialr error on first run 1997 Corvette LS1 Cylinder heads. Casting bubbles caused craked heads... bad situation if I recall.
