Guys, I'm looking for a printer or printing software that will take my digital files (.jpg) from my camera and print them onto photo paper. Ideally I want to print 4 - 4x6 photos on one sheet.

Any suggestions on how best to go about this?

Canon makes excellent digital imaging products... They have a variety of different printers, which are compatible with the PictBridge (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/feature/-/506462/104-1785977-4385503) standard so that any digital cameras that also use that standard can print directly to the printer: http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid=103

unfortunately with a standard piece of photo paper you will not be able to print 4 4x6 photos on one sheet (the max is 3).

I currently own an HP all in one photo printer (2710 - i think that is it, i am not at home to verify though) and it does a pretty good job.

I have owned a few different epsons (one lasted a year (CX-5400) then went out on me, yet it was a very good printer IMO). Best buy allowed me to exchange it, so i decided to get one of the Epson photo printers (R600 - It printed horrible pics, but all i had seen from other models like it were good) I decided to go ahead and get an HP instead though.

I just bought a Canon PIXMA iP6000D photo printer and it does it all, but scan.

I've been through nearly all of 'em, and I've been most impressed with my Canon. Best photos to come out of a printer that I've seen yet.
