The first public appearances of the smart brand in the USA produced an extremely positive response to the products and the core brand values anchored in them. It became clear that potential customers in the USA associate the smart brand with terms such as “unusual design”, “unique”, “creative”, “individual” and “innovative”. smart will be taking up these values at the Detroit Motor Show and specifically addressing the subjects of design, safety and ecology.

Ahhh yes the SMART. When I was in France I saw many of these little cars. I guess they can fit into a tight space. Check out this photo I took. :jest:

Looks like the company has been feeding their designers LSD or some other mind altering substance.........http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_eek2.gif

FWIW about two years ago I was working with Panoz and Mercedes Benz to bring these cars to the United States under the E-Motion brand. It was chugging along fine until Bush/Congress eased the CAFE restrictions. Mercedes lost their CAFE incentive, and reniged on the deal. This is the result: http://www.emotionmobility.com/

Shinkaze you must have a pretty sweet job since you seem to be knowledgeable of many differnt cars and brands and you are in the field (correct me if am wrong here).

BTW that car is kinda cool and I like the drug induced designs.
