Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - which one is better hand ported or cnc ported?

it doesnt matter, it depends on who designed the cnc program or who is porting the heads by hand.....

just pick a set of heads.your car will never "haul balls" if you dont pick some heads and get them on there.

The cnc will give you more even flow across all cylinders, so i would pic those.

It really is a tossup, a shitty porter can make the best head flow nothing, and a good porter can make a shit head great.

But as already stated, a cnc head is more consistent. If you have access to someone of exceptional talent, use them, I do my own under the eye of a very talented porter.

If I couldn't, I would opt for a cnc head.

Aren't you spraying this motor? If so then every cfm will not break your performance, not as much as the wrong converter, gear, system, and mostly the cam.
