what'll give me the best power gain, in your opinion?
6Al box and kit (coil, box, wires)
roller rockers
torker II intake
KB race pistons (but idk if they sell them for non bored engines)

right now i have edelbrock performer intake, performer carb, and 282/282 (.465/.465) sum 1104 cam this is running low compression in a GM crate 350, so i'm thinking pistons will probably do me the best?

i would say pistons or change intake

What heads do you have on there now?

Do you have room for a Performer RPM AirGap?

kenny duttweiler 23* trick flows will be on the way shortly, but not with that $300 it was somewhat of a windfall

1.6 Roller Rockers

Pistons could possibly cost more than $300 if you need more than a self-done ghetto hone. I would just use the heads to raise compression with smaller chambers, possibly mill them and buy 1.6 roller rockers.

I'll agree with the intake swap and/or roller rocker to bump up the cam range a few hundred rpm. But the best bang for the buck is spray! Find a used nos powershot or edelbrock kit and enjoy the extra ponies. :D

Stay away from a single plane with that small of a cam.

Think TORQUE!! I would go with 1.6 rockers, this will help you to take advantage of the heads.

Is this for the Blazer? if so nitrous is not going to give you the everyday improvement in driveability, it has its place, but who wants to drive a turd when not spraying?

well the preformer rpm air gap is proven time and time again to pick up 5-10 hp & tq and only 200 bucks. 150 more for proform 1.6 rrs.but take it from me,don't use cheap proforms on a medium sized solid roller, they should be fine with that small of a cam.should be close to 20 hp total.

I say if you are going to upgrade the other parts in the future then you should go with the ignition. With any daily driver type you would probably be better off by reinforcing what you have.
The cam and compression are matched so I wouldn't do the pistons, and like stated above you can raise compression when you swap the heads(and hopefully cam too).
Just my 2 cents.
