i have an 85 shortbed 2wd chevy pickup and i am building a .030 over 454 with 11.5 to 1 comp. with probally a comp 292 cam (not quite sure on that yet) a set of ported 781 heads, torker 2 intake and an 850 holley vacum secondary carb and probally a 250 shot of n20. the truck is going to be on a diet, i am guessing some where around 3600lbs range and it will have the Cal-track traction bars and slick so it should pull decent 60ft. times. So what does everyone think it will run. I am hoping mid 11's on the spray???

well se what it runs with the torker on it and probly just the 200 jets for now but if it gets in the low 11's the i will defenitly change manifolds and bump the jetting up and try for a 10.99 :drive:

I'd say mid 11s should happen, but always hard to guess times on a combo on paper unless someone else has run the exact one or something VERY close to it. good luck!

Yeah, I have been disappointed before too.

It should be torquey, But not being familiar with the heads capabilities its hard to say.

You'll prolly be close.

i would definately go with a single plane intake if i were you.. single planes seem to work better with nitrous in most applications.

thats the thing that is confusing me i thought the torker was a dual plane as well but the one i have is a single plane with longer runners than usual, plus it already has the bosses to set up a fogger system :eek2:
