He got a new engine for his drag car and has this question about it. Not sure why...
1993 Chevrolet 350 out of a 1500 4WD extended cab pickup. Just curious about the compression ratio with the stock pistons and if the pistons are flat
tops or dished. Thanks.
Thanks for your help,

A budget car...spare engine anyway.
I's off at college and he called me up. He has a 383 in there now, just wants this one for spare. Just looking for some basic info I guess before he gets started...

I'd guess about 9:1 compression with probably flat-tops if lucky. Not a great back-up motor for a race car, but a decent foundation block.

Thanks, I talked to him today. Your correct with the foundation block deal, thats all he's wanting is the block. Not sure why he wanted that info, but then again its my dad so....
Thanks
