355 sbc daily driven, about 19k miles on it, runs verry stong, ported/blended double hump fulie heads small chambered, about 420 hp, edelbrock hi rise valvecovers, new intake manifold gaskets as of (1/30/05). edelbrock single plane torquer intake and .422 flat tappet cam, makes good low-mid range power up to about 6200 rpm, great motor for a street car or weekend warior, will run with ls1's.
engine complete minus distrib, headers and starter. you get everything intake to pan + a suprentine belt setup with pulleys i have off a 92 camaro (not instaled).the engine punched .30 over but i cant verify that(since i was told by previous owner). motor is a 1970 4 bolt main casting, pulled from a 70 camaro ss. dont know the bottom end since i never had the heads off, but it sprayed a 175 hp nos wet shot a few times and a 260 shot once. runs 12.4-12.6 in a 3500 lb car on drag radials (11.40-11.20's on 175 shot). engine will come with flexplate, or flywheel for t-5/t- 10, your choice.
will trade for another sbc or bbc, even ls1, complete or shortblock depending one specs. looking for a change, bored with this engine. will trade running (with hei distributer/wires) for another running engine, also have a quickfuel proform carb that cost $750 to build with all the good stuff (specs aval), actuall size about 830 cfm and a victor jr port matched to a 1206 gasket that may go with this engine for the right deal. -thanks, mike
