Stereo & Electronics - Mounting my G-Tech

I bought a new G-tech Comp Pro a few months ago and want to mount it to the dash just off to the left side of the instruments. My question is how does plastic cover for the instument/ac vent/ lights switch come off. I am sure there are just some plastic clips but does anyone have a good trick to getting it off w/o breaking or cracking anything? I am trying to run my power wire through this so it not hangin in the way.

TTT....someone has to have installed different gauges that would know how to get this plastic piece off easily.
