Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - Slapped on the 750 holley

i just put on the 750 holley carb that ive been waiting to put on for a while. i had previously put it on about 2 weeks ago but it didnt run right so come to find out that the carb was really dirty. got it cleaned last night and it runs like a champ. even made the cam sound better. :burn: the 750 is the one on the left side.

Sounds like it needed the double pumper as opposed to the vacuum secondary carb, good luck getting more from it!

thanks, just took it out to a local car hangout. did a couple of burnouts and stuff, the usual. it runs a lot smoother and better with the upgraded carb.

I wouldn't put one of those 600s on a car I hated!!!!!

I have 2 boxes of them I've pulled off or people have given me, I use them for parts. Not many mind you, LOL!!!!

You are just another example of in many cases, bigger IS better!

thats funny CTS. we only went with the 650 though cuz it was on the previous motor that was in my car and at the time we couldnt find/afford another carb till we came across a 750 for a good price. i got the carb adjusted the right way on saturday and man, you can hear that cam even better. its awesome :)
