Thought it over and figured I'd do it the right way and get rid of the Monsoon H/U also. I'll be going over budget but what the hell. Wanted it to look somewhat stock so here is what I plan on using.

H/U: Pioneer DEH-P77DH (335?)
CD Changer: Pioneer CDX-P1280 (210?)
Front Comps: Infinity Kappa 60.5cs $179
Rear fill: Infinity Ref 5002i I know, rear fill $65
Sub: MTX Thunder Form $175
Speaker Amp: MTX Thunder 202 $99
Sub Amp: MTX Thunder 421D (for sub) $189

I'll be using the H/U rear amp for the rear fill.

I'll be getting about 150 sq feet of the B-Quiet Extreme and rewiring everything.

Now, what I'm wondering is. Where can I find that Head Unit. I see many places online offering it for a little over $200 but am a bit wary since I've never heard of them.

Also, I'm wondering if I need the Steering wheel adapter or any other wiring harnesses or kits? Anyone have experience with this deck?

You will need the interface for the steering controls, and there are a couple different interfaces available.....I spent $130 on my particular unit. Currently running w/Pioneer DEH940MP. I cannot remember the exact name, but can visualize the name in my head. Damn, getting old is a biotch. If you need it, I can pull the info when I get home and let you know tomorrow. It is the better of the (2) offered according to my tech.

Just thought I would let you know that I just bought that same HU brand new from EBAY for $189.95. He has several of them and they are Buy it Now items, so you don't have to bid and hope you win. I think there was a couple other ones that were like $10 cheaper but they had only sold 14 things on ebay compared to the company that I bought mine from 2thousand something.
And The Kappa speakers I have never heard good things about. I just oredered the Infinty Type-R components(heard good things about them)
Also have heard good things about the infinity reference.

if you go to the crutchfield website you can look up everything that will fit your car and then start searching around for the best price. Hope this helps some. Later:)

Do you know if you need a GM harness adapter for this HU? I'm checking out other speakers also but heard good things about the Infinity Kappas. Hell anything is better than stock at least.

What are you doing about your sail panel subs?

Not using them. Just the components up front and the stealth box in the rear.
