Did a search, and didn't find what I needed. Im installing some Alpine Type-R, compnents in the doors. Why do you need these baffles. Ive read about to keep water off of them, but water doesn't get on the stock ones so why do you need it. I guess you might have to cut the inside to make the new speakers fit(for depth) then it opens it up to water that goes down the windows. Right or not? And I Guess if you use the baffle you should cut the back of it out right? Im using 6w0's in the sail panels. Ive read that they shouldn't work well in the sail panels because they require a sealed encloser, but ive read everyone who has used them in the sail panels say they sound great? What gives? Im putting alpine sps-100a's in the hatch, should I use a baffle on those aswell to get a little better sound out of them, since they just hang in the open wheel well? These will all be running off a Jl e-6450 amp and a pioneer HU?Thanks... O, and I would guess that for the 6w0's you wouldn't be able to use the baffles(not cut out) as a make shit encloser cause there wouldn't be nearly enough air space, even for a 6.5" sub correct.
