Im tired of only have GM High-Tech to read, its not that i dont like it, its just that its not always LS1's and it seems it takes forever for new issues, we need an LS1 mag, i mean shit there are tons of mustang mags whynot LS1, i know that the enginge is newer than the 5.0 but i mean its not to new to not have a magazine devoted to our engines, i say there should be a LS1Tech Magazine, that would kickass

GM high tech is screwing me out of my issues, I haven't gotten one in like 4 months....

It seems like they send me every other issue....

I wouldn't mind a Ls1tech.com magazine, members rides, tech articles, install tips, lots of pictures sponsers ad's, have someone's car of the month... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

A magazine of LS1Tech members and stuff would be cool... but I doubt it'd be feasible... Someone would have to front alot of money to start it, and really if you wanna read about someones ride, that's what the message board is for <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Maybe not a LS1 magazine but LS1 and LT1 together in one issue would probably sell. Or just even another Fuel injection GM magazine since people dont like our current one available.

You guys do realize that it often takes 3 months for info to hit the press in a magazine, right?

Think MODERN!

Magazines are great, but the internet is better for sharing info. You can't download racing videos on a magazine. You can't interact with other magazine readers with a magazine. You can't get instant replies and tech help from magazine staff.

LS1Tech will become an "online magazine" once it has evolved. Think of how popular this site is now, and we only have a message board. We have alot planned, but not enough manpower right now.

Things we would like to add:

LS1 vehicle of the week
Tech articles
Parts tests
Event coverage (have that one)
Shop tours
Articles

LS1Tech is still an infant. Its only a year old right now. We have bigger plans!

Yeah, but I still think magazines are great. You can take them with you, read them on airplanes, on road trips, etc. And, I think people would like more to see their car on the front of a magazine than on an internet site. Not knocking the site at all since I think it's the best thing since the invention of nitrous; just saying I think a magazine would be cool.

Speaking of alot planned for the site what ever happened to our monthly or weekly give aways. I think we need those just in time for christmas.

It would be nice to have a chat room, but i dunno how many people are online at what times of the day....and yeah this is the first sitei log onto every night but hell i dont always want to be glued to the computer and thats where magazines come in.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

An LS1 magazine would be great! I'm sure it would survive, that 5.0 mag is still popular and 5.0 mustang's haven't been sold for years now. Plus look how many vehicles come with LS1's(trucks, vettes, and next year GTO, SSR, and Cadillacs).

Im all about a LS1 mag. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> GM startted the LS1 in 97 i think in the vetts so thast 5 years of possible buyers and then the trans ams, firehawks and camaros in 98 .That should be a big enough reader base. Im tired of seeing all the 5.0 mags every where. If there was a all LS1 mag I would subscribe for sure! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
