Southern Members - Sunday May 1st GAFBA shoot out!!!!

I'm getting the word out on Sunday May 1st we will be having our GAFBA shoot out at Silver Dollar. It is from 10:00am-5:00pm. They said all cars are welcome, their is a X class to race in. Their might be a cash prize but not sure. So if it is fast bring it out and have a good time. Camaros,Trans ams,Corvettes,Mustangs,Mercedes,some hondas etc,etc will be their. The bigger the crowd the more fun it is. I try seeing if they could have a car show but said it is mostly drag racing. Maybe some one ask to see if they can make a show in their.

Come out and some fun. Plenty of racing can be done, some people get 15 hot laps in a few hours.

BTW I think I have discovered the key to you improving your ETs. Just run that same 2.142 60'. Every time you run it you knock of at least 0.15 seconds off your ET :jest:

Been out in Louisiana since last thursday, had to drive out to Futral Motorsports to pull the tranny/heads/intake/clutch pedals/shifter/everything in the car worth anything out of josh's car. It's all sold, he's going Turbo 400 and a forged 347 with afrs with a big healthy shot of laughing gas :jest: Took about 4 hours to pull it all. The other time was spent in New Orleans checkin out the fine ladies :devil: . Also went to No problem raceway friday night, it was really cool. So many fast cars out there... And I ain't nobodys bitch!! bitch!! :jest: :jest:

Time to call BS..if ya wanna compare times slips for the evening I beleive mine was quicker..after the sun went down and the track got cold I couldn't hook at all...leaving at 1600 RPMs and not powershifing 1-2 and 2-3 and still spinning all over the track..my 60's went from 2.1 to 2.5..we can run em again.. :drive: ..we'll run while the sun is shinning and see what happens.. :engarde:
