Wondering what I can do to change the lighting theme in my interior without using LEDs. Looking for either red or a true blue. I want to be able to dim the interior lights as well. Let me know if you have any ideas.

I was looking at this too, but the blue bulbs were too dim. So I did the Leds. Never tried red though. Might want to get some parts from a Pontiac since they are red. Only reason everyone goes with the Blue Led's is due to the higher output over the normal bulbs or it would be real cheap just to replace the bulbs with normal blue bulbs. My Kenwood stereo uses blue led's and I'm getting a custom face kit with lettering that lights up with blue led's, so it all blends together.

I'm ordering that as well. The aluminum piece with the camaro lettering? I am going to order it w/o lighting so I can match it to the vehicle. I just can't have full lighting all of the time. I need to be able to dim it. Drives me crazy!

I'm still debating on the aluminum or black texured. Getting ready to get a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X889 to replace my Kenwood MP922 and might look better with the black. Only reason I haven't ordered a kit yet, is I can't decide what I want put on it. The Camaro Z28 is going to be used alot, LS1 Z28 might be ok, or 35th Z28. Think I am going towards the 35th Z28. for the price $60 or under without lighting it seems like a nice Bling mod.

I just talked to the owner, and he is working on one that will have camaro in the factory fourth gen text, and a first gen z/28 logo.
