Stereo & Electronics - How do you hook up stock monsoon sub amp to aftermarket head unit?

I put in a aftermarket head unit by alpine and my rear sub dosent work. what do you have to do to get this to work. A stero shop told me it is possible and they want $60.00 to do it. Im sure I can do it if I knew what wires to tie to/ run. Thanks
