Stereo & Electronics - Are these decent replacment speakers?

I want to buy 2 sets and replace the door speakers with these and also can I use just the woofer to replace the stock dvc monsoon sub? Only thing I did was replace the monsoon deck with a pioneer deh-6000p.....which made the stock speakers sound a hell of alot better, the monsoon deck must really suck!!

I personally would look into infinitys if your looking to say within that price range.

I would but I thought Infinitys are alot more expensive right? I mean as far as component setups. Cheapest I've found are the 6010cs models for $139.99

I've had Kenwood Speakers before and they Kind of Suck. No real Mid-bass output. Pretty tinny sound. Might not be much of an upgrade. I will never by a set of Kenwood Speakers again. Maybe the subs if they were cheap, but not full range speakers.

Decks are what they are good for and that's about it.

well, the H/U's are good, and their amps are pretty good, too....nice, clean power at a decent price (although you can get more power at the same level of "clean" for the same price, or less).

but yeah.....go Infinity, you won't regret it.....or you could also look at some Boston Acoustics, JL Audio, MB Quart, and a few others, but you'll probably end up spending more than you would on the Infinity's.

but no matter what you go with.....listen to them before you buy....only your ears will tell you what's right for you.....

Clarion, eclipse, alpine, and JL Audio. The only four name brands that I will ever buy. Kenwood and pioneer don't even compare.

Just bought some Infinity 6.5 from Circuit City. for $69.00 I put them up front and their great!

Go listen to some infinitys yourself. For the price they cant be beat.
