has anyone heard id it was gonna get built after all? the news was that it would be a forged 3.8 with TT putting down about 450hp. can anyone confirm?

You are referring to the 2004 Buick Velite concept, I believe. The status of this is unknown, though it was built on the Zeta platform which GM abandoned in North America.

Don't think it'll happen.
However I think a "4-door muscle car" a la the new Charger could fit in nicely as a Buick. :)
