Just a heads up that the August 16 episode of Rides on TLC entitled "Core" will focus on the C6.R and the C6 Z06. Might want to have your TiVo's ready :)

I can't stand that show. The voice of the host makes me want to stab myself in the throat.

Sounds like a good one though!

The narrator changed. It's now Chris Jacobs from Overhaulin.

Yeah I liked the promo with the comment about the $10,000 brakes. :)

Wasn't it Jason Priestly doing the narrating before? I haven't seen an epsode in a while, but I'm looking forward to this one.

just finished watching it now. i must say i knew the C6R's had their problems and didn't get 1st in their class at Sebring but to see exactly what they went through and to come back for 2nd and 3rd place was amazing. i believe it was johnny o'connell that said that everyone that goes to sleep at night has nightmares about the corvettes. and with a race like that i can understand why. they were even saying that Ron Fellows in the 3 turned one of the fastest laps in the race, and that was after they had fixed it when it had crashed in one of the turns.

TiVo is a Digital Video Recorder. It can pause and rewind live TV, and record your favorite shows. the best part about it is how easy it is to use. ANYONE can use it...seriously! Its like a VCR, but instead of tapes, it records shows onto a hard drive, like in a computer, and instead of recording by setting a time/channel, all you have to do is type in the name of the show and it will record all the eposodes you want to watch. if you have any more questions PM me. you can get it a base model at TiVo.com for 99 bucks.

I finally got a chance to watch it the other night (recorded it earlier) and have mixed emotions about it. On the one hand it was cool that they went into detail about the Pratt & Miller team since they are really the backbone of the whole project, but on the other hand I was really hoping for some insight on the development of the production Z06. Maybe that's a future episode.
Also, it was unfortunate that they spent the entire show focused on Sebring. It would have been nice to get some footage from LeMans in there as well. Oh well, I guess that's just how it goes with deadlines and all...

Yes, it was him. He must of had something more important come up :)

Also annoying.

Agreed. It's obvious he doesn't know much about cars.
