Personally I think the car will differ quite a bit from that rendering. It looks too similar to the B7 A4 Cab which is what I'm sure the idea is based on but still. If this car will look like anything resembling Audi's recent designs I'm looking forward to it. The B7 A4s, C6 A6s and D3 A8s are all frickin hawt IMO. It took a while for the horse collar grille to grow on me but when it finally won me over... boy did it win me over alright. Engine choices will be the 200hp 2.0T FSI and the 3.2L VR6 from the last gen car probably making the same 250hp. What I'm guessing and hoping is that Audi will eventually drop the 280hp 3.6L VR6 from the Passat under the hood of the smaller lighter TT.
On a side note Audi will be upping the power of the current TT so that the current car goes out with a bang. I'm guessing that the 1.8T models may get the same power boost that the Euro only TT Quattro Sport models got which hiked output from 225hp to 237hp. I'm guessing the TT 3.2L models output will remain the same but hopefully Audi might consider offering the Euro only 6 speed manual alongside the mandatory in the US DSG.
