According to autoblog Zeta is reportedly back on track for North America based on this article. To tell you the truth this article seems like the same shit GM stated before they canned Zeta for NA to begin with only it includes talk of the supposed '06 Camaro Concept that everyone says will make it's appearance at Detroit this year.

So Pontiac is getting a sporty coupe as the GTO's successor eh? Wonder if they mean the Goat redesign or something else... Either way that sounds promising. Cant wait till detroit.

You know If Zeta actually does show up underpinning a few US products, I wonder if this whole on, off, on, off thing is just a ploy by GM to garner attention from customers. I mean even industry analysts were up in arms about GM killing their biggest future platform that held the most promise for getting the company back on its feet.

*sigh*
I'd really like to see what that "Camaro" is going to look like when they unveil it in January.

GTO successor? Are they planning on killing the Goat too? Or am I missing something from that article? What can possibly pass up the goat right now? Gran Prix? Firebird?

THIS SUCKS!!! The only word used in that article was big. They even mentioned the Maro was supposed to be large! We do not need a large muscle car. The new Stangs are trucks, that is not what we need. We need light vehicles!!!

Irony coming from a last gen. F-body driver.
Anyways, it's good to see Holdens will be invading the US en masse. Hopefully GM NA won't screw with them too much.

Ok, you know what (as I'm on my way out the door to a client) all this on again off again stuff sounds like cannon fotter. It's Bullitin Board material that's probably out there to get the other two in Detroit so messed up, it has to be I tell ya. (yeah, consparicy theory mode is on).
Well, I'll read more later on today, keep us post about this.

A large sporty coupe for Chevrolet is also in the works. Outside sources say that car could resurrect the Camaro name. Buick might get a large five-seat convertible like the brand's Velite concept car.
Outside sources are stup-umb-gnorant if they are saying a large sporty coupe could resurrect the camaro name, what part of pony car do they not understand, every gen of camaro so far has been known for not being huge, if its big its not a camaro imo. Seriously, what's the problem with these guys.

No definite plans on what will be spawned from the platform, but hopefully this statement remains true and the General doesn't pull a double reverse.
