my door speakers are blown (as well as a sail speaker)
I've read through the hundreds of posts on what speakers work in replacing the stock 99' 200w monsoon door speakers, but I've never found a definite walk-through that says this wire goes to this post and these wires are removed, etc. It looks like the Alpine's are the way to go, but since CC doesnt carry them anymore I'm looking for other options. So basically, other than reading through all the posts of saying "XX" this doesnt work and "XX" this is discontinued, what speakers would basically be plug and play for my 2-ohm door speakers and how would they have to be wired differently? Would they always play at half the level? People seem to be confused on wire color and resistance ratings.
any helpful links or tips? I wanna buy some speakers tonight
