GMHTP is probably the best for Gen II and III perf in the mags.
PHR (now that Steve's in there :D) and Hot Rod have some decent to good articles on LS1s. Camaro Enthusiest, Chevy Rumble, High Performance Pontiac, Super Chevy all have LS1 articles. There's a bunch of mags out there that feature LS1 builds @ Barnes and Noble thats where I get all mine.

GMHTP is by far the best.

One article printed featuring an LS1, and ten letters printed from readers asking why those "Chevy-powered" cars are appearing in "their" Pontiac magazine.
My vote is for GMHTP, but the internet is so much faster information-wise. I mainly get GMHTP for reading when I'm away (or want to be away) from my computer, and for reference material for my freelance work.
