I ran at Fontana Speedway (1,290 ft. elevation) on August 13th. I had BFG DR's on my 2001 Trans Am WS6. My best time was:
R/T .713
60' 2.209 ( :( )
330' 5.930
1/8 8.866 @ 83.55
1000' 11.404
1/4 13.529 @ 106.17
My mods are as follows:
LS6 cam (Still not tuned), lid, Thunderracing Catback, SLP U/D, LCA's, PHB
I plan on going back in another month, with the cam being tuned, and i've already installed the throttle body bypass mod.
What can I do to improve??? I've been practicing for years, with still miserable 60' times (Identical 60' time w/ street tires, and I couldn't spin the DR's if my life depended on it off the line).

M6 or A4? You need to state that for the best help.
I noticed you didn't list headers; get a set real fast because you need them.
I ran the LS6 cam for 3 years with no tuning but I had the rev limiter and shift points bumped up via a HPP3. You need to really rev it to 6500 rpms to take full advantage of it. Looking at your 1/8 and 1/4 mi mph you're not revving it. Wind it out. Your 60 fts suck plain and simple. This is the part you really need to work on. You need to give more info before anyone can really help you.

If you can't spin the DR's, i'm assuming your an A4.. if you aren't breaking the tires loose at all its prolly bogging the motor some.Like said before the cam need to rev a bit more than the stock one. I would say a converter would help you a TON. That is, if your an A4.. if its an M6 and you have no tirespin.. much higher rpm is needed.

Sorry car is an M6. I am having the redline raised, as for some reason it will kick in at 5800 rpms in second gear (Very annoying). I was launching at 5000 rpms, and the car would just saunter out of the hole. Dunno if it is my clutch, as i'm sure it had gotten rather hot. Gonna go back in October, with the new tune from Race Prep that I get in September.

Sounds like a clutch problem to me then, I don't see how you could be not moving out faster than a 2.20+ 60' or having massive wheelspin (or break) leaving at 5000.

Yeah, i've read that the stock clutch is more or less easy to heat up, and that it doesn't react too well to heat. I'll have to see next time I go to the track. This is one of those reasons that I miss my Evolution, cause it was far easier to launch. Gonna have to see, and, of course, practice.

Is a 320 ft. track elevation good, or is that bad?
