Ive been on this site a little while now and figured I could post this.
I know my car isnt a LT1 or LS1 but I was very proud the first time I finally broke into the 12's. I also pulled the front tires about 2" off the ground. I havent been to the drag strip in about 2 years but the last time I went I ran a best time of:
Pic of timeslip http://www.adfabdesign.com/Illusion/Engine/12.66%20timeslip.jpg
1/4 12.663
speed 108.70mph
60' 1.853 (my best was around 1.7 but broke the old tranny)
In order for me to get this time I had to bolt on 28x10.5 mickey thompson drags. I could never get this on street tires.
