Not sure how many of you saw Rides, but Foose has done it again in my opinion. The man is a genius, and the car he has made that you can order through 85 dealers is awesome. This Mustang is gorgous if you ask me...

The 2006 Ford Mustang Stallion goes on sale this fall at 85 Ford dealers, priced in the neighborhood of $38,000 to $41,000. Production will be capped at only 3,000 per year.

I think Foose has definitely got some talent when it comes to designing cars but that mustang is not one of them IMO

Well this Mustang had to be made to be a production car, not one of his from the ground up hot rods or the cars he has done in the past. This had to be made for production, and it not his best by far.

Well, at least it's not front wheel drive.
$38,000 hmmm? kinda up there. I would get a stock GT, and well you know a little here and there :drive:

Good looking car, just not in that color.

I love the lines, very bow'ed up and muscular looking. Mineral grey is not the best color for it though. IMO

I watched that last night. Pretty cool car. I'd have chosen another color and not put the stripes on it, but it's not bad. I liked the wheels.

Did ya see the overhaulin with the Le Mans? That was a great lookin car but that guy looked like he saw "Blade" too many times

I think it's awesome that his talent is finally being recognized enough to the point where a massive corporation like Ford is actually letting the public buy 3,000 a year of these.

Way to go Chip. I hope you get the recognition you deserve for all your hard work.

Lol. He had that mohawk kickin. But he had some size on him, so I wouldn't say anything to him about it. It's getting so obvious on Overhaulin. They all know what's going on..just playing along with it. I change the channel during the stupid "pranks".

I don't get the facination with all of the body crap they are coming out with for the 05 mustangs. Just put some wheels on it, lower it, and you have a nice car.

Luna

I kinda think they're ugly no matter how many body kits, paint jobs , sets of wheels, or Foose signatures they have

Ugly color, body add-ons, and overpriced IMO.

i think it looks pretty good, but there are two things that i would have done a bit differently:

1) the main part of the car would be a bigger contrast to the rest of it, like maybe yellow or orange, and

2) pull those fog lights further out to the edges of the car, instead of right next to each other in the center

Not bad, but i would never pay anything for a ford. Not just a mustang, but ford in general. Every ford i had and taken care of all went to crap. But for whoever likes and would pay for it, go for it!

That stuff is just Foose making some change so he can get back to building one-off unlimited budget Riddler winners IMO. Same with that '69 Camaro he put his name on.

His hand-fabbed stuff is SECOND-TO-NONE, PERIOD. But this bolt on, Overhaulin' junk is just to pay the bills. But you know some idiot will pay 38+ for Foose's name. To each his own I guess.

Another thing I hate are the billet grilles. Those things not only look like they don't fit, but they're just ugly in general, on any vehicle.

i don't mind some fords....i drove a 95 Thunderbird that was 3 years old when i bought it, and that car lasted me 6 years of almost trouble-free service. really the only things that ever went wrong with it (on their own) are the alternator and the heater core.

the one major screwup that i had with it was when i bent 3 rods and several valves when i sucked water up the air intake by accident....but that wasn't the a fault with the engineering of the car.

i love my camaro, but i'm not really brand-specific.....if i find something that i like, be it ford, chevy/pontiac, dodge, etc., and if i am in the position to be able to buy it, i will buy it.

and i personally like the new mustangs...i know they're not as powerful or fast in stock form as an f-body, but face it.....they're new and you can get a new warranty on it in case anything goes wrong with it, and you don't feel like fixing it yourself (or don't have the space/tools). but to be honest, i think that if i was going to buy one, i'd wait for the new Shelby Cobra GT 500....that bitch is HOT! :burn: :burn:

looks much better than the stock GT, but needs some performance to back up the looks. it would most likely be slower than a stock GT with the added weight of the wheels. with a different color it would look nice though. are the fog light holes in the edges of the bumper left empty? why not add some to fill the holes up, or move the fogs to them.

What did they do to the motor? I missed that part. They supercharge it?

What did they do to the motor? I missed that part. They supercharge it?no, from what i understand its still completely stock powertrain. it never mentions any mods to the motor in the article, so i am assuming none. :judge:

Sounds like they're wrapping sandpaper around it and taking a running start before they stick it in you and break it off.
