Hey guys, im wondering since the breather filter that came with my lid is pretty dirty since its been on the car for a couple years, it plugs into that hose that used to go into the stock airlid, but now i used a tiewrap to tie it down, where can i find a replacement at? Would it affect gas mileage at all?
You mean the breather for the AIR pump?
Mine has been on the car 5 years, pretty
dirty. No effects on performance.
If you start getting Cat or AIR codes it
would probably be worth replacing.
I believe mine is a K&N, don't know the
part number. Parts store or one of the
board sponsors could match it.

K&N makes a crankcase breather filter that works well. Look for p/n 62-1030. Fits perfect.

Mine has been on the car 5 years too w/no problems (K&N). Think I'll clean it soon just for the heck of it...

if you have a pep boys near you, you can find one in the rice section. That's what the guys on this forum told me and sure enough it was in there. Just be careful when you walk in the valley of the rice.
