Stereo & Electronics - Z28 monsoon head unit into T\A ???

I have a lady friend that has a 99 Trans Am and her monsoon stereo head unit has knonked out..I found a monsoon head unit from a 2000 Z28 and I would like to know if you can just plug it in the Trans Am's wiring harness and use it without any other modifacations.. :confused:..the Z28 has bass and trebble knobs where the T\A has a little EQ in the head unit..any help would be appreciated.. :)

Yes, it will plug right in.

There are some differences though. For one, it will look odd - the Firebird head units are dark gray with gray buttons and red illumination, the Camaros are black with black buttons and blue/white illumination. For another, the speed sensitive volume of the Camaro radio won't work because the Firebird doesn't have the speed sensor wire in the radio harness.

White Bird is correct. It will plug and play, but the lighting will look goofy.
