Before anyone says it, yes I have searched, and I keep finding different answers. I just bought a viper 791xv alarm and I am going to hook up the remote start. I dont want to permenantly bypass the vats(I dont want someone to be able to start the car with a screwdriver). I have heard that there is a bypass that bypasses the vats when using the remote start, and works like it is supposed to when not using the remote start. Does this exsist? If so what is it? PArt number? Is it the dei 652t, or is that just the resistor trick that I dont want to do?

Thanks for the help guys.

Do it with a resistor and a relay.

Is this what you are talking about? (http://www.autopreservers.com/652T.html)

Will this work like I want it to? Will it only bypass when I remote start the car? I will still have to have the key to start it normally right? No one can get in and start it with a screwdriver?

check my link

the system is only bypassed when remote starting.

Ok cool. So know I know what I need to get. Do you think it is worth getting a tilt sensor to install with the alarm?

Make sure they isntall the hatch sensor, and hood pin..If you want you can do a prox sensor if you have T tops..other then that its all a waste IMO

So no on the tilt sensor? Is the hatch sensor and hood pin included in the alarm? IF not where can I get them?

the hood pin is, the hatch sensor is already in the car, you need to have the shop connect the alarm to it (another relay)
