the outside is sweet,but those gauges suck ,sorry but i dont like them, i think the 4th gen gauges are better with maybe a little more thought in the dash i think it will turn out sweet.

I love the outside but hate retro gauges. I want my new car to feel modern on the inside.

the inside of that thing is pretty ugly. i dont know if i could drive around sitting in it. the outside is much better. i like it. i think that orange rendering would have been much better though.

It looks like the front end was designed by chrysler? Maybe that's just me and that interior is hideous... Great lookin car but it needs some touch ups.

Did anyone hear which one they plan on using? It would not be too bad if they choose a real strong center section (you could always get 300M half shafts to stand up to the wheel hop). I just hope it's not the Goat/Monaro/Catera IRS. :( BTW, no matter what you think of the rest of that interior, the steering wheel ain't bad for an airbag deal, (certainly nicer than our 4th gen abominations). I'll take one of these in silver, GM, sans the ghetto/pimp/bling dubs, thank you. :)

The hemi is not a hemi..beleive me I've owned a bunch of real hemis..its a LS series motor with two spark pulgs..the tri star folks stole the design from GM.. :)

Werd the hemi dose look more like a LSx motor then a hemi.. and we all know that GM's LS motors are underrated.. and I beleave they said 400 RWHP not hp, as far as I know the hemi is rated at the crank... thats a big difrence... also that challenger and stang will probly weigh more.. but im not worried about that, that is one thing GM dose know how to do and thats make a car haul ass if they want to and I think that is the plan..

I think that this car is al least 2 years away from being reality. The wheels will be smaller. It a show car concept right now. It will have an LS series engine in it. Right now the power plant GM uses is the LS2. Who knows what engine will be used in two years time. GM really needs to get their head out of their butt and get this car into production as soon as they can. They have a history of being late to the party for decades. Mustang in 1964 Camaro in 1967 and so forth. GM pronounced the 2 door sport coup maket dead a few years back. Hense the demise of the F Bodys. Ford sold over 210,000 Mustangs last year and will do that and probably more this year. I bet that GM would love to have a car the sold that well in this market segment. If they do not price the car out of the market they will have a winner with the new Camaro. It needs to be in the 20's or they will be wasting their time building the car. It can be a little more expensive($2 or $3K) than the Mustang GT($25K). But if it comes in $5 or $6 thousand higher it will flop. If it even comes close to the stupid price of the lame ass GTO it is doomed for sure.

yeah the GTO was way overpriced when it came out! I mean what the hell were they thinking? who the hell wanted a 40K grand am? I agree thoe they need to get this thing in the 20's

Way over weight and way over priced!! GM must have been nuts to think that they could slap some GTO decals on a mundane body style and sell it for that high price. :eyes: The new Camaro needs to weigh in no more than 3300 LBS.... :thumb:
