So.... I was in Brazil since Dec 19th and got back yesterday and guess what.... I found a firebird at my brother's condo garage - not sure about the year but it seems to be a V-6 in close to brand new condition.

Considering that American cars are not sold in Brazil since the late 50s this is a very rare find there.

Crazy. Nice find. Know who owned it?

Isn't "trust" some import exhaust company?

What the hell is up with the Trust logo? Thats Greddys (Import parts maker) name in Japan, I think.

That's freakin crazy. Did you get to talk to the owner? And you day it was a V6 huh? Too bad!

I didn't talk to the owner, according to my brother he's an older guy (in his 60s) and all he does every two weeks is take the cover off, wax it and put it back on.

I don't know what that logo means. And I think it's a V6 because I couldn't see two pipes on the back. The wheels are 16" and the tires looked pretty thin almost like 225/40/16 or less.

According to my brother that car has less than 20K miles.

It seems to be a 1997 - can you tell by the pics at all? I'm not sure.

looks like a 93-97 with a funky 90ish nose on it. square reverse lights. looks like a firehawk variant of some kind.

pretty damned cool find Nick.

Hey, enough about the cars, how about those Brazilian Women?......

Without a beter look at the car, all I can say is it is a 93-97, (apparent) V6 in awesome condition!!

Firehawks (in the early 4th Gens) were made to look a LOT like V6 cars to increase the stealth interest in them....or so I have read....but there would have been dual exhaust and most of them had a Firehakw sticker on the right rear of the back bumper.

Those square-ish reverse lights were the standard for 93-97 Firebirds & I believe that the funky 90'ish nose was just the standard V6/Formula front end.

i didn't think the 93-97's had square reverse lights. but then again, i've been an A-Body guy my whole life until I got my formy a couple years ago.

that hood and nose shot is what made me think it's a special version of some kind.

we need to post it up in the firebird section and see what comes back from that. somebody's gotta know what that thing is.

Rick.... what can I say... there are no fat people there. NOBODY is fat. The girls are HOT and even when their faces are fugly their bods are killer.

Food is awesome, far away from the processed crap we eat here maybe that's why they don't get fat.

Fuck, even the asian girl behind the hotel counter was super hot. I couldn't think straight when looking at her - my room key wouldn't work several times a day :naughty:

It would be interesting to find out though most cars found overseas are original one of a kinds someone stumbled across (someone with a lot of money).
I saw a couple of interesting looking Camaro's and Firebirds in France and Switzerland, late 80's but not like anything found here. They actually looked good because the body style was just a tad different here and there but you could tell they weren't kits.
The 78' Caddy in Milan was bought by some rich guy who got it through some dealer in England and thought it was a standard issue in the US. It wasn't. Again, no kit but much nicer than what was being sold here. Plus non of them had emissions crap, not required there :bang:

I dig all that different stuff out there. Heck, look to our friends up in the Great White North eh. Even the old school muscle cars look different. Acadians are Novas. Beaumonts are Chevelle's, and they all look different than ours did. I liked the Canadian versions better than ours. The Chevelle's had pontiac cues. I forget what the Nova's looked like.

Most of the time. It was breezy so it's not that bad. At night, high 80s but with a/c sleeping is no prob.

That is awesome. We have some people from Thirdgen.org that are from Chile, Brazil, and a couple other South American places, also a fair amount from the European region. Couple TTAs made it over to Switzerland and Denmark. But, Thirdgen where actually exported to Europe (Z28E and Export editions) so they have a bunch of kinda funky stuff from GM, like base model tail lights on the GTA, colapsable paddle mirrors, special turns signals, etc.

Yup, the 93-97's had the squares, 98+ got the rounds.....I am pretty confident that is just a "plain" V6 93-97, but anything is possible, even me being wrong. :rotflmao:

The weather there sounds like Aruba, always hot 100+ but a nice breeze to keep things cooled down and the AC in the room to keep it tolerable at night. :) Wouldn't wanna live there but awesome to visit.

Somebody on here was stationed or living in Japan and found a 3rd Gen with those funky folding mirrors and such........looked like a nice car otherwise.

I hink it's pretty obvious that it's the 93-97 base model. Unless the owner is going for a sleeper effect there isn't anything to show it's anything more...
